Woodland Hills Psychotherapist
Rhonda Hauser, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and have over 20 years of experience working with a variety of client issues. My specialty areas include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, panic, stress management, self esteem, women’s issues, communication, adjustment/life transitions, and coping skills development. In addition to these services, I am also a Substance Abuse Provider (SAP) and complete comprehensive substance abuse evaluations for The Department of Transportation. I work primarily with individuals and couples.
I have been working in private practice since 2001. I began my career in 1992 as a Child and Youth Care Worker, working with children and teens in Residential Treatment. Once completing my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Calgary in 1995, I began working as a Social Worker doing in-home counseling and also working with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization.
Upon graduating from the University of Toronto in 2000, I began working as a psychotherapist doing intensive in-home treatment as well as short term solution focused therapy in an office setting. Now, in addition to maintaining a private practice for many years, I supervise a network of clinicians at a national Employee Assistance Program, and am a Field Instructor for the University of Southern California (USC), Faculty of Social Work.
Outside of my career, I am happily married and have two amazing boys. Some of my hobbies and interests include traveling, reading, photography, bike riding, and yoga.
